About the Role We are looking for a Sr. Executive – HR & Admin who will own and manage the HR function at 4th Wheel. This is a standalone role — there is no HR department. You will be the single HR anchor for the organization, working closely with the founders to build strong people systems, nurture culture, and ensure smooth day-to-day HR operations. The role is structured as 80% HR and 20% Administration, with a strong emphasis on culture, engagement, performance systems, and employee experience. CTC: ₹6–8 LPA (depending on experience) Key Responsibilities 1. Human Resources (80%) • Culture & Engagement • Strengthen and uphold 4th Wheel’s people-first culture • Design and execute employee engagement initiatives • Foster an inclusive, safe, and growth-oriented workplace • Act as a trusted point of contact for employee concerns • Proactively manage morale, conflict resolution, and team well-being • Organize team events, townhalls, and internal engagement activities Recruitment & Workforce Planning • Partner with founders and team leads to identify hiring needs • Draft clear job descriptions and competency requirements • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes • Ensure a structured and positive candidate experience Onboarding & Employee Lifecycle • Design and manage structured onboarding journeys • Conduct probation reviews and confirmation processes • Manage exits and offboarding with professionalism • Maintain accurate and updated employee records Performance Management • Implement and manage structured performance review cycles • Track goal setting and development plans • Support managers in conducting effective feedback discussions • Maintain documentation and process discipline Learning & Development • Identify training needs across teams • Coordinate internal and external learning opportunities • Support capability building and career growth pathways HR Systems & Compliance • Manage HR systems and employee data • Maintain HR policies, SOPs, and documentation • Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws • Track HR metrics and build basic dashboards 2. Administration (20%) • Manage office operations and vendor coordination • Oversee travel coordination and reimbursements • Maintain office supplies, records, and documentation • Support internal events and operational logistics • Ensure smooth day-to-day administrative functioning Qualifications • Experience: 6+ years of hands-on HR experience • Education: Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field (mandatory) • Prior experience in a standalone HR or small/medium organization preferred Skills & Attributes • Strong emotional intelligence and empathy • Ability to build systems and processes independently • Structured, organized, and detail-oriented • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • High ownership and discretion • Comfortable working closely with founders in a growing organization • Balanced approach combining warmth with accountability
