Freelance Technical Trainer & Assessor – HVAC / BMS / Electrical / Plumbing / FM 📍 Location Multiple customer sites across India (travel required) 🕒 Engagement Type Freelance / Project-based / On-call/On-line (On-site, face-to-face assessments – NOT online only) 📌 About the Assignment We are looking to engage experienced freelance technical trainers and assessors who can visit customer sites and conduct hands-on skill assessments of blue-collar workforce in the following domains: HVAC Technicians (Residential / Commercial) BMS Operators & Technicians Electricians (LT / HT, Industrial, Commercial) Plumbers (Commercial / Facility-based) Facility Management (FM) Technicians & Supervisors 🎯 Scope of Work The freelancer will be responsible for: Visiting client/customer sites as per schedule Conducting practical, face-to-face skill assessments Evaluating technicians on: Technical knowledge Hands-on execution Safety practices Fault diagnosis & troubleshooting SOP & compliance adherence Using assessment checklists / scorecards Providing individual competency ratings: Skilled / Semi-skilled / Unskilled Submitting assessment reports & improvement recommendations Optionally conducting gap-based refresher training (if required) 🛠️ Key Skills & Expertise Required (Any one or more areas) HVAC Split, VRV/VRF, Chillers, AHU, FCU Preventive & breakdown maintenance Refrigeration cycle understanding Controls & basic electricals BMS BMS architecture & logic Sensors, actuators, controllers Basic networking & system integration Alarm handling & troubleshooting Electrical Electrical drawings & load calculations LT panels, MDB / SMDB Electrical safety, earthing, fault finding Use of multimeter & testing tools Plumbing Commercial plumbing systems Pumps, pipelines, fixtures Leak detection & preventive maintenance Water supply & drainage systems Facility Management MEP coordination Preventive maintenance planning Technician supervision Service quality & safety compliance 👤 Ideal Freelancer Profile 8+ years of hands-on industry experience in the relevant trade Prior experience in training and/or skill assessments Comfortable interacting with blue-collar workforce Strong practical orientation (not only classroom theory) Willingness and ability to travel to client sites Preferably ex-industry professionals, senior technicians, site engineers, FM managers, or technical trainers 📋 Deliverables Completed assessment checklists per participant Summary competency report (batch-wise / site-wise) Skill gap analysis & training recommendations Attendance & assessment sign-off documentation 💰 Commercials Per-day / per-site / per-technician pricing (to be discussed) Travel & stay will be provided by the company
