As a Manager at Adobe, your role involves leading a team of procurement buyers and Tactical sourcing professionals focusing on talent acquisition and development, performance management, adhering to Savings Productivity Quality, and the SLA. You will partner with collaborators such as Global Strategic Sourcing, Legal, Finance, and Third-party risk management team to ensure cross-org alignment and deliver a best-in-class customer experience. Your responsibilities also include driving collective leadership for an outstanding Shared Services Organization of Adobe by defining the agenda, breaking barriers, fostering relationships, and developing next-line managers.
Your duties will involve developing and implementing comprehensive change management plans to ensure organizational readiness for the implementation of improved Operations processes and strategies. You should have a strategic focus with the ability to analyze, formulate, and focus on results to support Procurement S2P business goals and strategies. Implementing and driving Continuous Improvement Projects, as well as identifying Automation opportunities to have less manual effort with maximum output, are key aspects of your role.
It is essential to follow ethical work practices and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in managing customer relationships effectively. This includes resolving user queries on time and with accuracy, building awareness of common pitfalls, and conducting periodic or need-based reviews with key customers.
To excel in this role, you should have a detailed knowledge of procurement processes, exposure to P2P tools like Ariba, GEP, Coupa, etc., and ERP systems like SAP/Oracle. Proven experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts, working closely with Legal teams to manage risk, ensure compliance, and align contractual terms with business objectives is required. Your strong sense of ownership and accountability, along with a willingness to learn and operate out of your comfort zone, will be crucial.
The ideal candidate will have exposure to large/medium-scale technology transformations and be open to adapting to new technologies. With at least 10 years of experience in Procurement, including 3 years in people management, you should hold an advanced degree in business, finance, engineering, and Supply Chain, or equivalent experience will be considered.
Your attributes should include proven management and leadership skills that encourage team performance and growth. Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to engage, motivate, and manage key stakeholders and team members will be essential. You should also be able to synthesize and present sophisticated matters and data analysis in executive presentation views with informative commentary.
