Freelance- Azure Data Engineer

Location: Remote Engagement Type: Freelance / Contract Working Hours: Flexible schedule for 2-3.5 hrs between the timeframe of 7:30 PM to 12:30 AM Indian Standard Time (IST) for night shift work. Compensation: ₹1000 – ₹1200 per hour (based on experience) Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Azure Data Engineer to support data integration and analytics initiatives. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory • Work extensively with Azure Synapse Analytics for data warehousing and transformations • Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data models • Integrate and consume data from various APIs • Develop automation scripts and data transformation logic using Python • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data workflows • Ensure data quality, security, and performance standards Required Skills • Strong hands-on experience with: • SQL • Azure Data Factory (ADF) • Azure Synapse Analytics • Python • API integration • ETL pipeline development • Good understanding of data warehousing concepts • Experience working in Azure cloud environment Preferred Qualifications • Prior freelance or remote project experience • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Strong problem-solving and communication skills Engagement Details • Flexible daily commitment: 2–3.5 hours • Hourly compensation: ₹1000–₹1200 (depending on expertise) • Immediate joiners preferred
