Visa and Compliance Officer – Australia

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Visa and Compliance Officer – Australia & New Zealand to manage the complete post-offer process for students applying to institutions in Australia and New Zealand. The role involves coordinating with recruiters, ensuring compliance with institutional and visa requirements, and managing the end-to-end conversion process from offer to visa submission. Key Responsibilities 1. Post-Offer Student Management • Manage the complete post-offer process for students who have received offers from Australian and New Zealand institutions. • Track and monitor offer holders to ensure timely progression towards enrollment and visa submission. • Maintain accurate records of student progress in internal systems. 2. Recruiter Coordination • Regularly follow up with recruiters and channel partners for pending documents, fee payments, and student updates. • Ensure recruiters are aligned with university requirements and deadlines. • Provide updates and reminders to recruiters to improve offer-to-visa conversion. 3. Visa Application Processing • Guide students and recruiters on visa documentation requirements for Australia and New Zealand. • Review financial documents, SOPs, and other supporting documents before visa submission. • Coordinate the preparation and submission of visa applications. 4. Compliance & Documentation • Ensure applications comply with university guidelines and immigration regulations. • Verify document authenticity and completeness before submission. • Maintain compliance records and ensure proper documentation is maintained. 5. Stakeholder Communication • Liaise with admissions teams, recruiters, and internal departments to ensure smooth case progression. • Provide status updates and highlight risks or delays in student cases. 6. Reporting & Monitoring • Maintain regular reports on offer holders, visa submissions, and conversion status. • Track pending cases and proactively address bottlenecks affecting student conversions Performance Indicators • Offer to visa conversion rate • Timely visa application submissions • Compliance accuracy and documentation quality • Recruiter engagement and follow-up effectiveness
