Senior SAP FICO Lead

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior SAP FICO Lead with strong expertise in S/4HANA (Public) Cloud to join our internal ICS organization. In this in‑house role you will play a key part in shaping our future Finance environment. Since Agfa embarked on a multi-year S4HANA transformation journey you will mainly work (70%-80%) on projects rolling out our S4HANA Public Cloud template across the entire organization. The other 20%-30% of your time you will launch, investigate and drive projects or demands towards further Finance process automation, simplification and modernization. You will do this in close collaboration with Finance and IT teams across different external service providers. About You: You are an experienced SAP FICO Lead who understands the complexities of Finance operations within a multinational organization. You have deep knowledge of S/4HANA Public Cloud capabilities, best‑practice process design and global template deployments. You are proactive, analytical, and structured in your approach. You communicate clearly in English, work well with cross-functional stakeholders and are committed to delivering high-quality solutions. What You'll Do (Duties & Responsibilities): • Configure and optimize S/4HANA Public Cloud FICO functionalities while ensuring alignment with industry best practices and cloud standardization principles. • Collaborate with global Finance teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable, cloud-compliant SAP solutions. • Manage and evolve the global Finance template across FICO processes (GL, AR, AP, AA, CO-PA, Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Project Accounting, etc.). • Work closely with external implementation partners to guide system integrations and deployments. • Take part in the modernization of AGFA’s Finance system landscape with a strong focus on SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud. • Act as the internal knowledge keeper for S4HANA FICO processes and setup and make sure the ‘stick to standard’ principle is followed all the time. • Coordinate month-end and year-end Finance processes. • Stay current with the latest S/4HANA Cloud innovations and advise Finance leadership on potential improvements. What You'll Bring (Expereince & Qualifications): • Minimum 10 years of experience in SAP FICO leading with a strong functional track record in multinational companies. • Solid expertise with SAP S/4HANA, including at least 1 full lifecycle implementation with S/4HANA Public Cloud experience being essential. • Strong understanding of global Finance processes including Record-to-Report, Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Project System accounting. • Hands-on configuration experience in key FICO components, including: • General Ledger, Asset Accounting • Cost Center & Profit Center Accounting • Internal Orders • Profitability Analysis (CO‑PA) • Financial Closing & Reporting • Experience integrating SAP FICO with other functional areas (SD, MM, PP, PM) and external systems. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to translate complex requirements into structured solutions. • Clear and professional communication skills in English. • SAP FICO or S/4HANA Cloud certifications are an advantage.
