About The Role For an exciting international project based in Chennai, All European Careers is seeking a highly skilled (Senior) React Developer. This role involves transforming AI agent prototypes developed by our data science team into robust, scalable, and user-friendly web applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in front-end development, particularly with React, and a passion for creating innovative digital solutions. You will work closely with data scientists, back-end engineers, and UX designers to develop interfaces that effectively present AI-driven workflows, insights, and outputs. This is a contract position suitable for a motivated professional eager to contribute to cutting-edge AI projects and make a significant impact on the future of intelligent web applications. Qualifications The successful candidate will possess a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of six years of professional experience in front-end development, with a strong emphasis on React and modern JavaScript frameworks, is required. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, along with solid knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3. Proven experience in building and operating production-grade web applications is essential, including familiarity with React hooks, state management libraries such as Redux or Zustand, and integration with RESTful APIs. A good understanding of UI/UX principles, accessibility standards (WCAG), and responsive design is necessary. Experience with GenAI-powered applications, presenting AI workflows, and handling complex data visualizations will be considered a plus. Additionally, candidates should have experience with front-end testing frameworks like Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows. Fluency in English is mandatory for effective collaboration and communication within the team. Responsibilities Translate proof-of-concept AI agent capabilities and workflows developed by the data science team into production-ready React-based user interfaces. Design and implement scalable front-end architectures using React, ensuring maintainability, extensibility, and high performance. Build responsive and accessible web applications that present GenAI agent outputs, workflows, and insights in a clear and intuitive manner. Integrate front-end applications with back-end services, APIs, and Azure-based GenAI workflows to ensure seamless data flow and functionality. Ensure production readiness by addressing error handling, loading states, resiliency, logging, and front-end monitoring to maintain high application availability. Collaborate closely with data scientists and back-end engineers to understand AI model behavior, assumptions, and limitations, and accurately reflect them in the UI/UX design. Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from UI/UX design and implementation to testing, deployment, and ongoing support in production environments. Write clean, reusable, and well-documented front-end code, proactively reducing technical debt during the development process. Optimize application performance, bundle size, and rendering efficiency, especially for complex GenAI-driven interfaces. Participate in code reviews and contribute to establishing shared front-end engineering standards and best practices within the team. Debug and troubleshoot issues across React applications, browser environments, and API integrations to ensure a smooth user experience.
