Billing Engineer

Job Title: Billing Engineer Industry: Construction / Infrastructure / Engineering Location: Thoothukudi, Tamilnadu and Patiala, Punjab Experience Required: Min. 8-10 Years (Site Billing Experience Preferred) Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Billing Engineer to manage project billing, client invoicing, subcontractor billing verification, and quantity reconciliation at site. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate measurement, timely submission of RA bills, and coordination with project and finance teams. Key Responsibilities: • Preparation and submission of RA Bills and final bills to clients. • Verification and certification of subcontractor/vendor bills based on executed quantities. • Measurement of work executed at site as per approved drawings and BOQ. • Quantity take-offs and reconciliation of materials. • Coordination with Planning, Execution, and Finance departments for billing documentation. • Maintaining billing records, measurement sheets, and client correspondences. • Ensuring compliance with contract terms and project specifications. • Preparation of variation statements and extra item claims. • Tracking payment status and follow-up with clients for timely release of payments. • Assisting in cost control and project financial monitoring. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering. • Strong knowledge of BOQ, rate analysis, and construction drawings. • Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and billing software (if applicable). • Good understanding of contract conditions and project documentation. • Strong analytical and communication skills. Preferred Skills: • Experience in EPC/Infrastructure projects. • Knowledge of GST billing and taxation basics. • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
