Job Summary
The F&B Service Captain is responsible for supervising and coordinating the daily operations of the food and beverage service area to ensure excellent guest service. This role leads the service team, ensures smooth operations, maintains service standards, and enhances the overall dining experience for guests.
Key Responsibilities Service Operations
• Supervise daily food and beverage service operations in the restaurant or banquet area
• Ensure guests are greeted, seated, and served in a professional and courteous manner
• Monitor service quality and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery
• Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly
Team Supervision
• Lead, guide, and support stewards and service associates
• Assign duties and manage staff shifts and responsibilities
• Train staff on service standards, menu knowledge, and customer service
• Monitor staff grooming and discipline
Guest Experience
• Build positive relationships with guests and ensure satisfaction
• Provide menu recommendations and upsell food and beverage items
• Ensure personalized and attentive service
Operational Coordination
• Ensure cleanliness and proper setup of tables, service stations, and dining areas
• Check table settings, equipment, and service readiness
• Coordinate with other departments for smooth operations
Compliance & Hygiene
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards
• Follow company policies and F&B service procedures
Required Qualifications
• Diploma or degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or related field preferred
• 3–5 years of experience in F&B service, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Pay: Up to ₹20,000.00 per month
