The role involves actively managing ECAD library databases, implementing design automation to streamline workflows, and collaborating with engineering teams to optimize designs for manufacturing. Candidates should bring a solid blend of technical expertise, attention to detail, and teamwork skills, supported by 4-8 years of relevant experience. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain schematic symbols, PCB footprints, and 3D models to IPC-7351 standards. • Ensure accurate component data and maintenance of ECAD library databases with stringent version control. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for DFM/DFA optimization. • Implement design automation for enhanced library creation and workflow efficiency. • Resolve CAD-related design issues in collaboration with PCB layout, schematic creation, and manufacturing teams. Must-Have Skills: • Proficiency in Cadence tools and IPC standards. • Strong foundation in ECAD software and 3D modeling capabilities. • Effective problem-solving and error analysis capabilities. Industry Experience: Previous experience in the energy sector or a related field is advantageous, though not explicitly required.
