registered Pharmacist Reports To: Pharmacy Manager / Director of Pharmacy / Store ManagerKey Responsibilities1️ Medication Dispensing • Review prescriptions for accuracy and completeness • Dispense medications correctly and efficiently • Ensure proper labeling and packaging • Verify dosages and check for drug interactions 2️ Patient Counseling • Educate patients on medication usage, dosage, and side effects • Provide guidance on over-the-counter (OTC) medications • Answer patient questions regarding prescriptions and health concerns • Promote adherence to prescribed therapies 3️ Clinical & Professional Duties • Monitor patient medication therapy and outcomes • Recommend alternative medications when appropriate • Administer immunizations (where authorized) • Maintain patient medication records 4️ Regulatory Compliance • Comply with federal, state, and local pharmacy laws • Maintain pharmacy licensure and professional registration • Follow controlled substance regulations • Ensure proper storage and inventory management 5️ Collaboration • Communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals • Supervise pharmacy technicians and interns • Participate in healthcare team discussions Qualifications & Requirements • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) degree • Active state pharmacist license • Strong knowledge of pharmacology and pharmacy law • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Attention to detail and high ethical standards Skills & Competencies • Clinical judgment and decision-making • Customer service skills • Organizational and time-management skills • Problem-solving ability • Proficiency with pharmacy management systems Work Environment • Retail pharmacies • Hospitals and healthcare facilities • Long-term care facilities • Pharmaceutical companies • Government or regulatory agencies Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹8,270.98 - ₹29,691.63 per month Work Location: In person
