Job Description Summary Manage the buying process for a given set of goods. Apply sourcing policy, interface between supplier and entity with respect to specifications and budgets. Has in-depth knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; has working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market. Job Description Roles and Responsibilities Place and follow-up on Purchasing Orders. Manage relationships with suppliers for Purchase Order execution. Manage problems and schedule changes. Update ERP. Developing specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in own job discipline or field. Serves as best practice/quality resource. Has awareness of latest functional developments in own area. Contributes towards strategy and policy development, and ensures delivery within area of responsibility. Experience inco term and clearance specialist with proven records of the actual involvement. Advisor and mentor to the newly forming team Skilled influencer, able to communicate complex messages to others. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements. Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus. Developing persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within field. Impacts approaches, projects and programs in the functional area or affected business organization and ways of working. Impacts quality, efficiency and effectiveness of own team. Required Qualifications Great and fluent communication skills Proven significant experience in international purchasing field Proven experience in importing goods to India Proven experience in practicing different Inco terms (logistics terms) Leadership & ownership attitude Cooperative approach Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Demonstrate ability to analyze and resolve problems. Demonstrate ability to lead team Desired Characteristics Higher degree within supply chain field: business, finance, purchasing, sourcing, logistics or similar Minimum 10+ years of professional working experience in procurement and supply chain.
