Agri Telemarketer (India)

Job Summary: An Agri Telemarketer is responsible for contacting farmers, agri-businesses, and rural customers to promote and sell agricultural products and services such as seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, farming equipment, crop insurance, or agri-financing solutions. The role involves lead generation, customer education, follow-ups, and supporting field sales teams. Key Responsibilities: - Make outbound calls to farmers, distributors, and agri-retailers - Promote agricultural products and explain features, pricing, and benefits - Generate leads and schedule appointments for field sales representatives - Maintain and update customer databases and call records - Follow up on previous inquiries and pending orders - Conduct basic market surveys and collect farmer feedback - Meet daily/weekly/monthly sales targets - Handle customer questions and resolve basic concerns - Coordinate with field officers and regional sales teams Required Skills & Qualifications: - High school diploma or bachelor’s degree (Agriculture, Marketing, or related field preferred) - Basic knowledge of agriculture (crops, seasons, fertilizers, etc.) - Solid communication and persuasion skills - Ability to speak local/regional languages - Basic computer skills (MS Excel, data entry) - Target-driven and self-motivated - Good listening and relationship-building skills Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month Benefits: - Paid sick time - Paid time off - Provident Fund Work Location: In person
