Senior IT Business Analyst - Capital Markets / Murex - Contractor in USD

For an international project in Chennai, we are urgently looking for a IT Business Analyst with working knowledge in the areas of capital markets, trade capture and life-cycle management for Summit / Numerix OneView or any capital market systems like Murex or Numerix etc. We are looking for a motivated contractor. Candidates need to be fluent in English. Tasks and responsibilities: • Evaluate business requirements for the reconciliation, by working in close collaboration with the business users; • Create user stories and flow diagram for the process intended for the bespoke project; • Defines potential application problem by conferring with clients, evaluating procedures and processes; • Understands the system landscape and develops solutions accordingly; • Provides viable, alternative, and cheap-to-deliver solutions of the highest quality; • Possess good understanding of Investment Banking, Capital markets and valuation functions; • Ensures operation by training client personnel, providing support; • Collaborate with the business users and document the current business process and also the TO BE business process with a new automated reconciliation system in place; • The incumbent should have excellent documentation skills, be a skilled troubleshooter and problem solver, be able to deliver results within tight timelines, in compliance with defined internal control / quality assurance requirements; • Well versed in Liquidity Analysis/ Management and reporting; • Working knowledge of Azure cloud infrastructure, features and capabilities; Profile • Bachelor or Master degree; • +6 years of IT BA experience; • Knowledge of capital markets and trade booking in capital market systems like Summit, Numerix Oneview, Murex, Calypso or any product; • Ability to provide creative and effective ways of overcoming project management and execution challenges; • Ability to effectively liaise with all concerned units for project implementation; • Proven conceptual, analytical and judgmental skills; • Advance knowledge of specific business area, process, workflows, standards, and business practices; • Ability to work well with diverse team members, often in multiple locations and remotely; • Knowledge of capital markets; • Knowledge of Azure cloud; • Knowledge of AFR/ computer vision to extract written text and create a meta data; • Knowledge of process for reconciliation and case investigation; • Fluent in English;
