We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SEO Specialist to lead and manage all aspects of our digital marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of SEO, SMO, SEM, affiliate marketing, Shopify backend management, and digital marketing strategies. This role is best suited for individuals with experience working in startups and a proven track record of driving significant growth. We are not looking for candidates who are only interested in maintaining existing business operations; we want someone passionate about company and brand upliftment.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Marketing Management:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the Digital Marketing Department including SEO, SMO, SEM, affiliate marketing, graphic design, and website design & development.
- Create, plan, and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies.
- Conduct daily research on project updates and competitors.
Content Management:
- Hire and manage outsourced content writers for blog posts, Web 2.0, article submissions, guest postings, and website content.
- Discuss and develop unique content structures and usability with the content team.
- Review content quality and assign tasks to the digital marketing team for submission.
SEO and Analytics:
- Track, measure, and report on SEO and Google Analytics metrics.
- Review analytics reports and provide recommendations for improving website performance.
- Conduct on-page and off-page SEO optimization, including technical SEO, keyword analysis, and site audits.
- Create reports on the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns, including click-through rates and conversions.
Affiliate Marketing:
- Create MIS for affiliate and merchant websites using MS Excel and MS Word.
- Search for affiliate websites and merchant websites to generate revenue and advertise products.
- Track transactions between affiliates and merchants, and find website administrators' domain info for outreach.
Social Media Management:
- Monitor and manage social media platforms for our app, including creating a social media calendar for reels, posts, and stories.
- Research and guide the team on social media platforms, algorithms, and the latest digital marketing trends.
Client and Team Management:
- Maintain strong client relationships and serve as the main point of contact for PPC-related inquiries.
- Lead a team of PPC specialists, providing guidance and mentorship.
- Conduct training sessions to enhance team members' PPC knowledge and skills.
- Develop and manage PPC strategies, including campaign strategy, keyword research, ad creation, bid management, and A/B testing.
Shopify Backend Management:
- Oversee and manage Shopify backend operations, including product listings, inventory management, and order processing.
- Ensure SEO best practices are applied to product pages, collections, and site structure.
- Optimize Shopify store performance through technical enhancements and app integrations.
- Monitor and analyze Shopify analytics to improve e-commerce performance and user experience.
- Implement and manage Shopify apps to enhance functionality and sales performance.
Technical Skills:
- Google Search Console: Create accounts, analyze indexing data, crawl errors, backlinks, search queries, and add XML sitemaps.
- Google Analytics: Generate and analyze traffic reports, manage the effectiveness of keywords, and create web analytics reports.
- On-Page Optimization: Meta tags, title, description, heading optimization, and XML sitemap creation.
- Off-Page Optimization: Guest posting, forum creation, article submission, press releases, social bookmarking, classified ads, business listings, and more.
Other Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service and support to clients via email or phone.
- Assist with monthly paid search campaign management and reporting.
- Develop and monitor digital dashboards to watch for trends.
- Learn about new technologies related to digital marketing.
Required Experience and Skills
- Proven experience in managing digital marketing strategies and teams.
- Strong project management abilities and independent thinking.
- Proficiency with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and other SEO tools.
- Experience with content creation, on-page and off-page optimization, and technical SEO.
- Excellent understanding of social media platforms and online reputation management.
- Hands-on experience with Shopify backend management.
- Proven track record of driving significant growth in a startup environment.
- Ability to analyze data, create detailed performance reports, and make data-driven decisions.
Education and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
