About the job: Job Title: Assistant Professor - Civil Engineering Location: Anand International College of Engineering. Jaipur Department: Civil Engineering Qualification: M.Tech Job Summary: The Department of Civil Engineering at Anand International College of Engineering, Jaipur, invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor. The successful candidate will be expected to engage in teaching, research and activities within the department. Key Responsibilities: Teaching: Develop and deliver courses for B.Tech. in civil engineering topics including but not limited to Structural Engineering / Construction Technology/Environmental Engineering / Fluid Mechanics / Water Resources Engineering. Mentor and advise students in their academic and professional development. Utilise innovative teaching methods to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes. Research: Publish research findings in reputable, peer-reviewed journals. Establish a strong, externally funded research program in an area of civil engineering aligned with departmental strengths and priorities. Collaborate with industry, government, and other academic institutions to address pressing civil engineering challenges. Other: Participate in departmental, college, and university committees and activities. Engage with professional organisations and contribute to the advancement of the civil engineering profession. Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the department and the broader engineering community. Qualifications: Minimum M.Tech. in Civil Engineering or a closely related field from an accredited institution. Ph.D. Candidates with prior teaching experience in Engineering Colleges will be preferred. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
