Senior Biomedical Engineer

Job Title: Senior Biomedical Engineer/ Zonal Head Location: Mumbai Experience: 10–15 Years Salary: ₹35,000 – ₹45,000 per month Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Biomedical Engineer to lead and manage biomedical equipment maintenance and service operations. The candidate should have deep technical expertise, hands-on experience with medical and laboratory equipment, and the ability to guide a team of engineers and technicians effectively. Key Responsibilities: • Supervise and mentor the biomedical service team for effective maintenance operations. • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of biomedical instruments including analyzers, patient monitors, X-ray machines, dialysis units, and cold chain equipment. • Ensure calibration, validation, and compliance as per NABH and ISO standards. • Coordinate with OEMs, suppliers, and vendors for parts replacement and service support. • Maintain equipment inventory, service records, and documentation. • Plan and oversee installation, commissioning, and testing of new equipment. • Conduct safety checks and ensure uptime of critical medical devices. • Provide technical training and operational guidance to hospital staff. Qualifications & Skills: • Education: B.Tech / B.E. in Biomedical Engineering or Electronics. • Experience: 10–15 years of relevant experience in hospital or biomedical equipment service. • Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. • Strong communication, coordination, and reporting abilities. • Knowledge of NABH documentation and biomedical asset management software preferred.
