VP Finance

The VP Finance role focuses on overseeing financial accounting activities across Domestic and International markets, financial operations, ensuring compliance, and driving strategic financial decisions. This position requires expertise in accounting and finance within multi-entity, multi-country organisations preferably from Manufacturing, Logistics, Shipping, FMCG, FMCD. Description • Oversee financial accounting, compliance, treasury, cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting processes. • Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal financial requirements. • Develop and implement financial strategies to support business goals. • Monitor financial performance and provide insights to enhance profitability. • Lead the preparation of financial statements and management reports. • Manage relationships with auditors, banks, and other financial stakeholders. • Ensure effective cash flow and treasury management. • Support decision-making through accurate financial analysis and reporting. • Good to have fund raising experience, preferably debt side in a domestic market. Profile A successful VP Finance should have: • Qualified CA/MBA preferred • Strong educational background in accounting or finance. • Proven expertise in the Transport & Distribution industry, specifically Third-Party Logistics. • Comprehensive knowledge of financial management principles and practices. • Experience in overseeing financial operations in a large organisation. • Analytical skills to assess financial performance and provide actionable insights. • Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements. • Excellent leadership and decision-making abilities.
