Notice Period - Immediate to 15 days

Role Overview: -

System Engineer – Support Insourcing, Automation Hosting

• 2nd level support on Windows, Linux, Veeam backup, Active Directory, VMWare and Citrix

• Diagnose hardware failures, OS troubleshooting, software patching

• Manage AD, group policies, Windows/Linux servers, system updates

• Monitor and manage backups and restores

• Assess local server infrastructure needs for running automation related systems such as automated guided vehicles, MES and WMS systems

• Assess current and new workloads for best hosting practices with centralized hosting as preference.  Perform VMWare workload migrations where deemed feasible

Create documentation of current and new systems and ensure our monitoring and backup routines cover all systems 

Qualifications: -

-          Bachelors/masters in I.T or equivalent
