Proven working experience as Purchasing Manager, Agent or Officer with minimum 8-year experience in Agri-Input company. Person needs to be proficient in English and Hindi language. A knack for negotiation and networking Working experience of ERP and other vendor management software Ability to gather and analyse data and to work with figures Skilled degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration As a Purchasing Manager, the role will involve sourcing raw materials, equipment, and services, as well as managing vendors (both for domestic and import procurement). Responsible for performing strategic procurement activities across various spend categories, aiming to find better deals and more profitable suppliers. Expertise in supplier relationship management and negotiation skills will be crucial in ensuring cost-effective and high-quality procurement. Additionally, to analyze market trends, forecast demand, and mitigate risks to optimize the procurement process. By leveraging knowledge of supply chain management and ability to identify opportunities for improvement, Purchase Manager to contribute to the overall success of our organization’s purchasing operations.
