The company plans to continue leveraging technology and top tier talent to enhance customer service and offer new product lines and services. The company's core offering is post-settlement Healthcare Lien Resolution Administration and QSF (Qualified Settlement Fund) Administration and payments processing for multi-claimant (mass tort and class action) litigation. Other services include claims administration, single event lien resolution, probate and bankruptcy coordination, release administration, medical records review, and plaintiff fact sheet and other intake/census preparation and management. The company enables law firms to focus on their litigation while ensuring that critical pre-settlement and post-settlement administration documents, services, business analytics and reporting are handled efficiently and effectively. Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to design and maintain scalable, high-performance data warehouse solutions. This role spans the full data engineering lifecycle — including ingestion, transformation, integration, modeling, and performance optimization — to create a unified “single source of truth” across multiple systems. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, analysts, and development teams to deliver reliable, analytics-ready data solutions. Responsibilities • Data Engineering: Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade data warehouse solutions supporting reporting, analytics, and operational workloads. • Single Source of Truth: Integrate and standardize data from multiple systems to establish a unified, trusted data foundation. • Scalable Data Solutions: Translate business requirements into scalable data models and robust engineering solutions. • Dimensional Modeling: Convert business entities into well-structured facts and dimensions using dimensional modeling best practices. • Data Modeling: Design and maintain relational schemas, ER models, and optimized normalization/denormalization strategies. • ETL Development: Develop, enhance, and maintain ETL pipelines using ADF, Microsoft SSIS, Python, or similar tools. • Data Quality Assurance: Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability throughout ingestion and transformation processes. • Data Integration: Integrate data from Oracle NetSuite, Salesforce, Ragic, SQL Server, MySQL, Excel, and other internal/external systems. • SQL Development: Write and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views. • Performance Optimization: Implement indexing strategies, tune queries, and optimize database performance for efficiency and speed. • Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve data, performance, and availability issues in production environments. • Reporting & Analytics Enablement: Support reporting and analytics initiatives using Power BI, SSRS, or similar tools. • Collaboration: Work closely with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver end-to-end solutions. • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for data models, ETL pipelines, database objects, and workflows. • Governance & Change Management: Follow best practices for version control, deployment, and change management using Git and JIRA. Qualifications • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • 7+ years of experience with Azure SQL, Microsoft SQL Server and Data Engineering solutions. Required Skills • Strong expertise in SQL Server–based data warehousing. • Hands-on experience Dimensional Modeling using Facts and Dimensions. • Expertise in ADF, SSIS and Python for ETL development. • Advanced SQL skills (complex queries, stored procedures, performance tuning). • Strong experience in Power BI & SSRS for reporting and data visualization. • Strong understanding of relational database design, indexing, and performance tuning. • Ability to write complex SQL scripts, stored procedures and views. • Familiarity with Git, JIRA, and collaborative development workflows. • Problem-solving mindset and analytical skills. • Excellent communication and documentation abilities. Preferred Skills • Experience with cloud data platforms such as Azure Fabric, or similar. • Exposure to cloud-based ETL and data processing tools (Databricks). • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for database and data platform deployments. • Experience with MySQL/Oracle or other relational databases. • Experience with automation and scripting (PowerShell). • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Azure Database, AWS Database Specialty).
