Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Demi Chef De Partie, based in Worli. The Demi Chef De Partie will support the Head Chef by preparing and plating dishes with precision, ensuring food quality, and maintaining high culinary standards. The candidate will manage inventory, monitor kitchen operations, and ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards. Additional responsibilities include assisting in menu planning, training junior kitchen staff, and contributing to a collaborative work environment. The candidate should also have a good knowledge of basic kitchen etiquette.
Qualifications
Strong culinary skills, including food preparation, cooking techniques, and plating
Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
Experience in inventory management, kitchen equipment operation, and monitoring food quality
Ability to work well under pressure, multitask, and maintain efficiency in a fast-paced kitchen
Excellent communication and leadership skills to train and collaborate with team members
Passion for food, creativity in menu development, and attention to detail
Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts or related field, and previous experience in a professional kitchen is preferred
Should have basic knowledge of fondant and sugar work.
