We’re looking for a hands-on operations manager who will own the entire backend of the business. This role is critical to keeping sales, orders, customers, and warehouse coordination running smoothly.
Role Overview:
You will be responsible for managing e-commerce orders, CRM, customer inquiries, sales follow-ups, and warehouse coordination. This is not a desk-only role.
Work Structure & Timings:
This is a full-time, on-site role based in the studio situated at Nigdi Pradikaran.
Working hours: 10:30 AM to 8:00 PM, 6 days a week
Candidate is expected to be present in the studio for daily coordination, customer calls, and sales execution.
Key Responsibilities:
• E-Commerce & Order Management: Manage daily orders across Shopify and other platforms, track payments, cancellations, and returns, ensure accurate processing, timely dispatch, and maintain backend system hygiene.
• CRM & Sales Tracking: Update and manage CRM with leads and order details, track inquiries to conversion, prepare daily/weekly sales reports, and follow up on pending or dropped leads.
• Customer Communication & Support: Handle WhatsApp and Instagram inquiries, understand customer requirements (sizing, customization, etc.), provide clear product guidance, and build trust through effective communication.
• Sales Conversion & Outreach: Actively convert inquiries into confirmed orders via calls and WhatsApp, perform cold calling, send proactive outreach messages, and revive inactive leads to drive sales.
• Warehouse Coordination: Coordinate with the warehouse team for smooth order fulfillment, monitor stock availability, and ensure timely dispatch.
• Issue Resolution & Internal Alignment: Quickly resolve order or delivery concerns and act as a bridge between sales, warehouse, and management for seamless operations.
• Proactive Growth Support: Drive revenue through consistent follow-ups, structured tracking, and proactive customer engagement rather than relying solely on inbound inquiries.
Candidate Profile:
• Prior experience in D2C, e-commerce, retail, or sales operations
• Comfortable working with Shopify, CRM tools, WhatsApp Business
• Strong communication skills in English, Marathi and Hindi
• Commercial mindset with confidence in customer conversations and sales closure
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and execution focused
Good to Have:
• Experience in fashion, apparel, or made-to-order brands
• Understanding of order logistics and fulfilment workflows
• Excel or Google Sheets proficiency
• Prior experience handling WhatsApp or Instagram sales
What This Role Is NOT:
• Not a passive admin role
• Not limited to backend only
• This role owns sales execution and order flow
• Not a role for candidates uncomfortable with calling, follow-ups, or sales conversations
