QA Automation Test Engineer

Role Overview We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our Agile team working on a US-based healthcare EHR platform built using the React.js, Node.js with MySQL, and deployed on Microsoft Azure. The role involves ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of applications integrated with Azure AI Search, Azure Storage Services, and Azure AI Studio-powered AI capabilities. You will be responsible for Automation, Black-Box, White-Box, Database, and API testing, ensuring high-quality sprint releases and seamless integration across web applications and AI-powered modules. Key Responsibilities • Automation Frameworks: Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation scripts. • End-to-End Testing: Execute comprehensive testing cycles, including Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, and Integration testing. • Technical Validation: Perform White-Box testing (logic validation, DB queries) and API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured. • Agile Delivery: Active participation in the Agile/Scrum lifecycle, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. • Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects to closure, ensuring high-quality releases within sprint timelines. • Test Documentation: Author detailed test cases, scenarios, test data, and release notes to ensure 100% requirement coverage. • Collaboration: Partner with Developers and Product Owners to resolve bottlenecks and • ensure alignment with client expectations. Technical Skills & Qualifications • Automation: Proven hands-on experience with automation testing through various testing tools. • API & Backend: Proficient in API testing (Postman, Swagger) and SQL/Database validation. • DevOps Integration: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions). • Methodology: Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum and the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). • Analytical Thinking: Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills with a focus on root-cause analysis.
