Role Highlights: • M&A and Transaction Support: Lead execution of M&A, joint ventures, and strategic acquisitions, drafting and negotiating transaction documents, and support debt transactions by coordinating financing and security documents with lenders and counsel. • Corporate Law and Compliance: Advise on corporate law, governance, FEMA, and regulatory compliance, including board/shareholder actions, capital structuring, and inter-company transactions. • Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and business-critical agreements across various verticals. • Litigation and Risk Management: Manage litigation strategy with external lawyers, review pleadings for disputes, track legal/regulatory developments, and escalate risks to General Counsel with mitigation strategies. • Compliance and Mentorship: Drive Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption compliance, engage with external stakeholders (shareholders, lenders, regulators), and mentor junior team to foster a culture of compliance and ethical conduct. Ideal Candidate: • 6–8 years of post-qualification experience, including prior experience in a top-tier corporate law firm. • Hands-on experience with M&A transactions, commercial contracts, and regulatory advisory • Excellent drafting and negotiation skills. • Experience mentoring junior colleagues will be a plus Your privacy and the privacy of others are important.
