CNC Punching Operator (Vasai East)

• Operates CNC Amada to punch holes or layout marks in metal sheets, plates, strips, or bars, following charts which list machine settings for each cut: Inserts, aligns, and locks punches, using hammer, shims, feelers, micrometers, and setscrews. • Places workpiece on table manually. • Aligns workpiece to scale and end gauge on machine and clamps it to machine table. • Pushes button to turn CNC Machine to specified punch and die. • Presses pedal to activate punch. • Repeats operation for each machine setting specified on charts. • Positions center punch from CNC Punching Machine to touch plate and turns crank to scratch layout lines. • May compute punch charts from blueprints, using square, scale, and applying knowledge of shop mathematics. • May punch holes in metallic materials. • Punch press operators look at blueprints or plans for the finished product, make adjustments to the machine to control speed, material feed and path of the punch, as well as make sure the machines are set up properly, working well, and producing quality product. • They make sure their machines are working at full capacity, are stocked with needed materials, well-maintained and perform periodic checks on output. • They look at the finished product to ensure it is defect-free and ready for the next step in production. - Experience 1 - 3 Years - No. of Openings 1 - Education Diploma - Role CNC Punching Operator - Industry Type Manufacturing / Production / Quality - Gender Male - Job Country India - Type of Job Full Time - Work Location Type Work from Office
