QA Engineer (Automation)

As a QA Engineer at Beebom, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our in-house product. Your responsibilities will include: - Creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases. - Estimating, prioritizing, planning, and coordinating testing activities. - Performing thorough functional, user, regression, database, and load testing using both manual and automated suites as applicable. - Designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts. - Reviewing requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely feedback. - Recording all observations and issues in Jira. - Understanding the solution sequence/architectural diagram and elaborating it to design REST API test scenarios, test cases, and execute the same. - Performing cross-browser testing for websites. Qualifications required for this role: - 2-4 years of relevant industry experience in software testing for web and mobile applications. - Strong proficiency in Python with a solid understanding of OOP concepts. - Good understanding of DOM, dynamic elements, and robust XPath strategies. - Experience with automation frameworks; working experience with Robot and Selenium with Python. - Experience with multiple layers of testing environments (UAT, Database, Functional, Regression, Production). - Experience with API testing. - Knowledge of an agile/scrum environment and understanding of agile methodologies. - Experience working with load testing tools such as JMeter, Locust. - Good to have experience with Docker and Kubernetes. - Experience in SQL and NoSQL, with exposure to SEO testing, is a PLUS.
