Bharat Brands Community (BBC) is an initiative by SetMyCart, built as an ecosystem-first network exclusively for India’s consumer brands and the partners who enable their growth.
With 1400+ brands already part of the network, BBC is emerging as one of India’s fastest-growing communities focused on D2C and consumer brand owners, especially from high-potential, non-metro markets. Through curated meetups, city chapters, accelerator-style cohorts, knowledge sessions, and strategic partnerships, the community enables brands to:

Role Description
This is a full-time role based in Nagpur or Raipur, offering flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. We are looking for a high-energy, execution-focused Community Manager to build, nurture, and scale the Bharat Brands Community across cities.
This role goes beyond social media management, it is about building real relationships, running offline and online programs, and strengthening India’s consumer brand ecosystem.
You will work closely with the founding team to drive meetups, partnerships, cohorts, and accelerator-style programs.
As a Community Manager, you will be responsible for fostering and managing relationships with SetMyCart's customers and community.
Key Responsibilities
1. Community Growth & Outreach
• Onboard new consumer brands into the network
• Drive outreach via LinkedIn, WhatsApp, events, and founder networks
• Build relationships with brand enablers and ecosystem partners
• Maintain and grow the 1400+ brand network
2. Meetups & City Chapters
• Plan and execute offline networking meets across cities
• Coordinate speakers, venue partners, sponsors
• Drive registrations and attendance
• Ensure high-quality founder experience
3. Program & Cohort Management
• Design and manage structured community programs
• Run outreach/accelerator cohorts for selected brands
• Coordinate mentors, experts, and session speakers
• Track progress and engagement of participating brands
4. Partnerships & Ecosystem Building
• Build strategic partnerships with:
• Agencies
• Service providers
• Incubators
• Startup communities
• Investor networks
• Enable value exchange between brands and partners
5. Engagement & Retention
• Run WhatsApp/LinkedIn groups effectively
• Drive meaningful discussions (not spam)
• Identify and highlight success stories
• Collect feedback and improve programs
Qualifications
• 2–5 years experience in community building / startup ecosystem / events
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Comfortable speaking with founders and CXOs
• Execution-oriented with a strong ownership mindset
• Passionate about startups, D2C brands, and ecosystem building
• Willing to travel
• Preference would be given to ex-founders or agency networks
