Job Requirements Job Title: Pharmacy - IN charge Company Name: Bhrungi Hospitals Location: BN Reddy Nagar Qualification: B Pharmacy Experience: 3-5years Salary: 20-25K Job Description: A Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) is a senior licensed pharmacist responsible for the daily operations, regulatory compliance, and staff supervision of a pharmacy, ensuring all legal and clinical standards are met. They oversee medication safety, manage inventory, and often handle staffing, hiring, and scheduling to maintain efficient pharmacy services Roles and responsibilities: Operational Management: Oversees daily workflow, ensuring the pharmacy operates efficiently, accurately, and adheres to hospital and legal standards (e.g., NABH/JCI). • Inventory Control: Manages procurement, purchases, stock levels, and vendor coordination to avoid shortages. This includes managing the cold chain, monitoring expiry dates, and removing expired medicines promptly. • Staff Management & Training: Supervises, trains, and mentors pharmacy staff, including hiring, scheduling, and developing training modules for new hires. • Dispensing & Clinical Care: Ensures accurate medication dispensing to In-Patients (IP) and Out-Patients (OP), including checking for drug interactions. • Regulatory Compliance & Audits: Maintains records of scheduled drugs (including narcotics), handles internal and external audits, and ensures all regulations are met. • Coordination: Acts as the liaison between the pharmacy and clinical teams, doctors, and nursing staff to ensure optimized patient medication therapy. Specific Duties Include: • Expiry Management: Implementing monthly expiry tracking. • Record Keeping: Maintaining stock registers, issue registers, and narcotic records. • Safety Assurance: Ensuring proper storage of hazardous materials.
