Node.js Lead - Distributed Systems

About the Role : We are looking for an experienced NodeJS Lead to drive backend architecture, lead development teams, and build scalable, high-performance applications. The ideal candidate should have strong system design expertise, hands-on Node.js development experience, and leadership capabilities to manage complex enterprise projects.Key Responsibilities : - Lead backend architecture design and development using Node.js- Build and manage scalable microservices-based systems- Define coding standards and ensure best development practices- Lead and mentor development teams- Design and develop RESTful APIs and backend services- Optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability- Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams- Participate in architecture discussions and technical roadmap planning- Oversee database design and integration strategiesRequired Skills : - 10+ years of software development experience- Strong expertise in Node.js and JavaScript- Experience designing microservices and distributed systems- Strong understanding of REST APIs and backend architecture- Experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP- Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines- Strong leadership and mentoring skills- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities (ref: hirist.tech)
