DATA ANNOTATION TEAM LEAD

Lead a team of annotators building the datasets that train frontier AI models. At Biz-Tech Analytics, we partner with global AI labs on high-stakes annotation projects — RLHF, model evaluation, and custom dataset creation. This isn’t bulk labeling. It’s precision work that directly shapes how the world’s best AI models learn. RESPONSIBILITIES • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of data annotators across image, video, text, and specialized projects • Conduct regular quality audits to maintain annotation accuracy above target thresholds • Train team members on annotation tools, processes, and specialized project guidelines • Collaborate with project managers to plan deliverables and meet client deadlines • Identify and implement process improvements to increase throughput without compromising quality • Handle escalations and ensure deadlines are met — quality is non-negotiable REQUIREMENTS • 2–5 years of hands-on experience in data annotation (image, video, text, audio, or specialized domains) • Proven experience leading or managing annotation teams (not just individual annotation work) • Strong working knowledge of annotation tools (Labelbox, CVAT, Scale AI, Appen, or similar) • Track record of maintaining quality standards and running structured QC workflows • Excellent communication and organizational skills • Must work from our Delhi office — this is a fully in-person role (no remote or hybrid options available) NICE TO HAVE • Experience in specialized annotation: coding, medical, STEM, or multilingual domains • Exposure to AI/ML workflows, RLHF, or model evaluation pipelines • Experience scaling annotation teams from small to large THIS ROLE ISN'T FOR YOU IF • You’ve never managed or led a team — individual annotation experience alone isn’t sufficient • You’re looking for a remote or hybrid position — this role requires daily in-office presence in Delhi • You don’t have hands-on experience with professional annotation tools • You’re not comfortable with strict quality benchmarks and tight deadlines ABOUT BIZ-TECH ANALYTICS Biz-Tech Analytics partners with global enterprises, AI labs, and industrial businesses to build and scale advanced AI systems.
