Senior Captain – Job DescriptionJob Summary The Senior Captain is responsible for supervising daily restaurant operations, ensuring excellent guest service, coordinating with the service team and kitchen, and maintaining high hospitality standards at the resort. Duties & ResponsibilitiesGuest Service • Welcome guests warmly and ensure a memorable dining experience • Handle guest complaints professionally and ensure quick resolution • Ensure service standards are followed at all times Team Supervision • Supervise captains, stewards, and service staff during shifts • Allocate duties and manage shift schedules • Train new staff on service procedures, menu knowledge, and grooming standards • Motivate the team to maintain high performance and discipline Operations Management • Oversee restaurant setup, cleanliness, and closing procedures • Coordinate with the kitchen for smooth food flow and special guest requests • Monitor table turnover and ensure efficient service during peak hours • Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and resort SOPs Billing & Reporting • Assist in billing, POS operations, and cash handling • Verify bills and ensure accuracy before presenting to guests • Prepare daily service reports and feedback for management Inventory & Quality Control • Monitor restaurant supplies, linen, cutlery, and glassware • Report shortages, breakages, or maintenance issues • Ensure food presentation and service quality meet resort standards Required Skills & Qualifications • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in hotel or resort F&B service • Strong leadership and communication skills • Good knowledge of food & beverage service standards • Ability to handle guests politely and confidently • Basic computer/POS system knowledge • Well-groomed, professional appearance Reporting To • Restaurant Manager / F&B Manager Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month Benefits: • Food provided • Leave encashment • Paid sick time Work Location: In person
