As a Senior Data Analyst at our company, you will play a crucial role in leveraging data analytics to drive data-driven decision-making and operational excellence in the e-commerce domain. You will collaborate closely with payments space stakeholders to deliver high-quality insights, robust reporting, and data models. Here is a breakdown of what you can expect in this role: • *Key Responsibilities:** - Partner with stakeholders to understand business questions, reporting needs, and analytical requirements. - Design, build, and maintain SQL-based datasets, views, and queries to support recurring and ad hoc analysis. - Develop, enhance, and maintain dashboards and reports in Tableau (preferred) or Power BI, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and user-friendliness. - Support BAU work & ad-hoc analysis and critical projects in the payments space. - Analyze data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement, cost optimization, and revenue growth. - Collaborate with data engineering and other analytics teams to improve data models, data quality, and documentation across Payments domains. - Translate complex findings into clear narratives and recommendations for non-technical stakeholders through presentations and written summaries. - Contribute to the design and implementation of automation and standardization for recurring Finance/Accounting reporting and metrics. • *Required Qualifications:** - 5+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence, or in an Analytics role. - Strong hands-on expertise with SQL, including complex joins, CTEs, window functions, and performance tuning. Familiarity with dbtCloud concepts is a plus. - Experience developing and maintaining dashboards and reports in Tableau (preferred) or Power BI. - Demonstrated experience working in the e-commerce domain. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to structure ambiguous problems and drive actionable insights. - Proven ability to work with non-technical stakeholders, gather requirements, and translate them into effective data solutions. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex topics in simple terms. - Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
