WordPress / Divi Developer (UX-experienced) – Contractor (India) 📍 Location : India (Remote) 🕒 Employment Type : Contractor 📈 Experience Level : Mid to Senior (3–7 Years) About the Role We are looking for a skilled and creative WordPress Developer with strong Divi Builder expertise and UX experience to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain websites that are visually compelling, high-performing, and built with the user experience in mind. As a mid to senior-level developer, you will play a key role in shaping digital experiences, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering innovative web solutions that drive results. Key Responsibilities • Design and develop fully responsive websites using WordPress and Divi Theme Builder • Translate UI / UX designs into functional, interactive web pages • Apply best practices in UX, usability, and web accessibility • Customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements • Optimize websites for performance, SEO, and fast load times • Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, technical issues, and compatibility problems • Maintain and regularly update existing websites • Collaborate with designers, marketers, and developers to align with project goals Requirements • 3–7 years of professional WordPress development experience • Strong proficiency with Divi Theme / Divi Builder • Solid understanding of UX design principles and user behavior • Strong command of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript , and basic PHP • Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility • Knowledge of performance optimization and SEO fundamentals • Comfortable working with tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch • Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills Nice to Have • Experience with WooCommerce and eCommerce integrations • Familiarity with Google Analytics, Search Console, Hotjar , or similar tools • Knowledge of accessibility standards ( WCAG ) and GDPR compliance What We Offer • Competitive compensation and performance-based bonuses • Flexible working hours (remote / hybrid options available) • Opportunity to work on diverse and meaningful projects • Learning and development support (technical + UX growth) • Friendly, collaborative, and supportive team culture
