Experienced AI/ML Engineer for Predictive Maintenance in Aerospace

Role Overview: As an Experienced AI/ML Engineer specializing in Predictive Maintenance at Boeing India Engineering & Technology Center (BIETC), you will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced AI/ML solutions to enhance Airplane Prognostics & Health Management (PHM) capabilities. Your primary focus will be on applying AI techniques to Predictive Maintenance and health monitoring of aircraft systems and subsystems. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze requirements and historical operational data from aircraft fleets to design and prototype innovative solutions for diagnostic and prognostic needs of aircraft sub-systems. - Apply Advanced Prognostics & Health Monitoring techniques to assess the state of health and monitor component failures for aircraft systems & subsystems. - Develop algorithms to estimate Remaining Useful Life (RUL) and identify early-stage degradation patterns. - Implement anomaly detection, fault isolation, and health prediction using advanced approaches in high-level software such as Python, Matlab/Simulink. - Support project leads in building and productionizing ML models with modern stacks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and MLOps practices. - Design scalable architectures and storage solutions to support fleet-scale telemetry and real-time analytics. - Create explainable visualizations and dashboards highlighting KPIs, model outputs, and uncertainty for stakeholders. - Enforce data governance, security, and compliance while ensuring AI testing, verification & validation. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to translate technical work into product and after-sales value. - Produce technical documentation, progress reports, and deployment playbooks while tracking milestones and performance. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related fields. - Demonstrated experience in data analytics, machine learning, and Artificial Intelligence models. - Proficiency in Python, Pandas, Numpy, Scikit-Learn, and deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch. - Strong understanding of classical machine learning algorithms, SQL, and nosql databases. - Preferred qualifications include specialization in Data Science, AI/ML, experience in Predictive Maintenance, NLP skills, and familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink. - Excellent presentation and communication skills, self-motivated, and willing to work flexible hours.
