Job Description • Experienced and highly skilled SAP BASIS HANA Consultant responsible for the administration, configuration, performance tuning, and support of SAP landscapes including SAP HANA environments. • The candidate will manage SAP systems lifecycle, ensure high availability, and support implementation and migration projects. • Installation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP systems (S/4HANA) • SAP Kernel upgrades, patching, and Support Package implementation • Client administration and system refresh activities • Transport Management System (TMS) configuration and monitoring. • SAP HANA installation, configuration, and upgrades • HANA database monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting • HANA system replication setup and administration • Backup and recovery management of HANA databases • HANA security and user management • Experience in SAP migration projects. • Unicode conversions and OS/DB migrations • System copy (Homogeneous & Heterogeneous) • Cutover planning and execution. • Proactive system monitoring using SAP Solution Manager • Root cause analysis and performance optimization • Capacity planning and system health checks • User administration and role management • Audit support and system compliance • SAP security patch implementation • Knowledge of SAP HANA Cloud • Strong hands-on experience in SAP BASIS administration • In-depth knowledge of SAP HANA architecture • Experience in S/4HANA landscape management • Good understanding of SAP NetWeaver architecture • Knowledge of database systems (HANA, Oracle, SQL Server) • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills • Excellent communication and coordination abilities • Experience in SAP Change Management processes • Handling SAP release upgrades and Enhancement Pack (EHP) upgrades • Coordination with functional and technical teams during deployments • Managing downtime activities and minimizing business impact • Experience in automation of routine BASIS tasks • Supporting SAP interfaces (IDocs, RFC, Web Services) • Troubleshooting connectivity issues between SAP and third-party systems • SSL certificate installation and renewal • SAP Router configuration and maintenance (ref:hirist.tech)
