GCSE English Tutor for a Young Person - Volunteer

Bright Futures UK is looking for an experienced GCSE English tutor to provide educational support and a structured, fun environment for a young person. What difference will you make? For this reason, all volunteers are subject to an enhanced criminal record and disclosures check. We also ask all volunteers to adhere to our Safeguarding, Equality and Confidentiality policies. What are we looking for? • Subject Knowledge Strong understanding of GCSE English concepts and specifications. • Teaching Skills SEN/SEND teaching experience and an ability to explain complex ideas in a clear and engaging way. • Empathy and Patience Kind and understanding nature, especially towards those facing health challenges. • Reliability Consistent availability for the agreed-upon time commitment. • You must be a UK resident and be at least 18 years old. What will you be doing? What will you be doing? • Running bespoke and flexible tutoring sessions online to support a young person. • Offering subject area knowledge and support in GCSE English. • Engaging the young person in engaging sessions. • Adhering to safeguarding policies and report concerns to the BFUK Team
