Valve Inspection

Job Title: Valve Inspection Engineer Department: Quality / Inspection Qualification: Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering Experience: 1–3 years in valve inspection or quality inspection • Inspect industrial valves (gate, globe, ball, check, etc.) as per approved standards and specifications. • Review and verify valve drawings for correctness, dimensions, materials, and compliance with project requirements. • Check valve dimensions (face-to-face, flange size, bore, thickness) using measuring instruments. • Witness and perform hydrostatic pressure testing (shell test, seat leakage test) according to applicable standards (API, ASME, ISO). • Ensure test pressures, holding times, and acceptance criteria are met. • Identify defects, non-conformities, and coordinate corrective actions. • Prepare and maintain inspection reports, test records, and certificates. • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and client requirements during inspection and testing. Basic Skills Required: • Knowledge of valve types and standards • Ability to read engineering drawings • Experience with measuring tools and pressure testing • Basic documentation and reporting skills Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month Benefits: • Health insurance Work Location: In person
