Senior Functional Tester – HR & Compensation Domain 4 Weeks Onsite (Bhopal) for KT | Remote Thereafter Experience: 5–8 Years Domain: HRMS | Payroll | Compensation | Incentive Systems Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Functional Tester with strong HR domain expertise to validate complex compensation workflows within a mission-critical Compensation Management SaaS platform. The ideal candidate must deeply understand HR business logic, salary structures, financial calculations, and incentive models — beyond basic test case execution. Important: Candidate must be available to work onsite in Bhopal for 4 weeks for Knowledge Transfer (KT). The role will be fully remote thereafter. Key Responsibilities Compensation & Payroll Validation • Test end-to-end compensation lifecycle processes • Validate salary increment cycles, merit reviews, and promotion-based revisions • Verify bonus distribution logic and variable pay calculations • Validate sales incentive and commission structures • Ensure financial accuracy of calculation engines Testing & Quality Assurance • Prepare detailed test cases based on HR business logic • Perform functional, regression, and integration testing • Identify edge-case scenarios in compensation modeling • Conduct database validation using SQL queries • Validate complex rule-based workflows Stakeholder Collaboration • Work closely with HR business users and product teams • Participate in UAT cycles with HR stakeholders • Translate HR requirements into test scenarios • Raise defects with proper root cause analysis Required Skills • 5–8 years of experience in Functional Testing • Strong experience in HRMS / Payroll / Compensation systems • Deep understanding of: • CTC structures • Salary revision cycles • Bonus logic & variable pay • Sales incentives & commissions • Pay equity & compensation benchmarking • Strong SQL knowledge (joins, aggregations, validations) • Experience using JIRA or similar defect management tools • Experience in SaaS-based platforms preferred Good to Have • Experience testing financial calculation engines • Exposure to HR analytics or compensation modeling tools • Knowledge of data validation in large datasets • Basic understanding of automation testing concepts Engagement Details • Experience Level: 5–8 Years • Mode: 4 Weeks Onsite (Bhopal) → Fully Remote • Employment Type: [Contract ] • Immediate joiners preferred Just to ensure you are reading the whole content, answer 3+5 as 15 in screening
