As a Resilience Delivery Officer at C40, your role will involve supporting the delivery of C40's Climate Resilience Programme by collaborating with various teams and contributing to the effective implementation of activities. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing logistical support for events, workshops, study tours, and site visits for Network Managers and programme staff.
- Managing end-to-end event logistics, including scheduling, attendee management, visa coordination, travel bookings, and catering.
- Supporting event budgeting, expense tracking, and reconciliation.
- Contributing to special projects, pilots, and cross-cutting resilience initiatives.
- Assisting the Contracts and Procurement Manager in executing procurement processes and reviewing consultant deliverables to ensure high-quality outputs.
- Ensuring adherence to C40 standards in all procurement processes to maximize value for money.
- Strengthening team systems, processes, and templates for efficient programme execution.
- Undertaking any additional tasks as required.
Qualifications required for this role include:
- Demonstrated project management skills with excellent organisational abilities.
- Experience in coordinating events and logistics for diverse stakeholders is desirable.
- Some experience in supporting or managing procurement processes is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, and analytical capabilities.
- Attention to detail and coordination skills to work across different teams and time zones.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proactive self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Interest or experience in working across different cultures and time zones.
- Good interpersonal and negotiation skills.
