Nursing Attendant

Location: [Delhi NCR] Employment Type: Full-time / Part-time / Shift-based Industry: Home Healthcare Job Summary We are looking for a compassionate and responsible Nurse Attendant to provide basic nursing care and daily living assistance to patients at their homes. The candidate will support patients with mobility, hygiene, medication reminders, and other essential care needs while ensuring their comfort and safety. Key Responsibilities • Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting (as per need). • Help patients with mobility support, including walking assistance, transferring from bed to chair, etc. • Monitor and record basic health parameters such as temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and oxygen levels (if trained). • Provide medication reminders as prescribed by doctors or nurses. • Support patients with feeding and nutrition assistance if required. • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the patient's surroundings. • Assist with bedridden patient care, including repositioning to prevent bed sores. • Report any changes in the patient's condition to the supervising nurse, doctor, or family members. • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients. • Follow infection control and safety protocols. Requirements • Minimum 10th / 12th pass (ANM or caregiver training preferred). • Certification or training in patient care / nursing assistance is an advantage. • Freshers are welcome as well. • 1–3 years of experience in patient care, hospital, or home healthcare preferred. • Basic knowledge of vital monitoring and hygiene practices. • Good communication and interpersonal skills. • Compassionate, patient, and responsible attitude. Preferred Skills • Experience with elderly care, post-surgery care, or bedridden patient care. • Ability to work in flexible shifts or 12/24-hour duty. • Basic first-aid knowledge.
