Asst Restaurant Manager : Hotel / Resort

Role Summary The Assistant Restaurant Manager supports the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring high service standards, guest satisfaction, and smooth coordination between kitchen and service staff in a hotel or resort environment. Hotels such as Marriott International, Hyatt Hotels Corporation, and Taj Hotels commonly employ this role. Key Responsibilities 1. Restaurant Operations • Assist in managing daily restaurant operations. • Ensure smooth table service and guest flow. • Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation. 2. Guest Service • Welcome and interact with guests. • Handle guest complaints and feedback professionally. • Ensure guests receive excellent dining experiences. 3. Staff Supervision • Supervise waiters, hosts, and service staff. • Assign duties and monitor staff performance. • Assist with staff training and scheduling. 4. Coordination with Kitchen • Coordinate with the kitchen team for order preparation. • Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages. • Monitor service quality and speed. 5. Inventory & Cost Control • Assist in managing restaurant inventory. • Monitor usage of food and beverage supplies. • Support cost control and wastage reduction. 6. Reporting & Administration • Prepare daily sales and operational reports. • Assist with billing, POS system management, and cash handling. • Use systems such as: • Oracle MICROS POS • Toast POS Required Qualifications • Degree or diploma in Hotel Management / Hospitality Management • 2–5 years experience in restaurant or hotel F&B service Required Skills • Strong customer service skills • Team leadership and supervision • Communication and problem-solving • Knowledge of restaurant service standards • Basic financial and inventory management Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month Benefits: • Cell phone reimbursement • Food provided • Provident Fund Work Location: In person
