In this role as a Medical Research Assistant specializing in Ophthalmology at the Center for Human Genetics and Medical Research in Bengaluru, you will be involved in conducting clinical and laboratory research. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting experiments and working with lab equipment using strong research and laboratory skills
- Collecting, interpreting, and managing research data effectively with proficient analytical skills and data analysis
- Collaborating with team members, compiling research findings, and maintaining detailed records of experimental and clinical procedures with strong communication skills
- Assisting in the preparation of research reports, presentations, and regulatory documents
Qualifications required for this role include:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in a relevant field such as Life Sciences, Biology, Genetics, or related areas
- Experience with clinical or laboratory research will be an added advantage
- Familiarity with ophthalmology and genetics research is preferred but not mandatory
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Understanding of ethical research practices and compliance with regulations is preferred
