As the Wells Product Owner at Chevron, your main responsibility will be to support the Wells Digital Platform by delivering the highest priority objectives on a quarterly basis. This includes maintaining and updating digital solutions within the platform, contributing to the product roadmap, and ensuring alignment with the overall product line strategy. You will be actively engaged in sprint planning, collaborating with IT resources and global teams to deliver valuable outcomes that align with the Wells functional vision. Additionally, you will provide day-to-day operations support for applications, troubleshoot technical issues, and work on enhancements to meet maintenance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accountable for the support, operation, and maintenance of digital solutions within the Wells Digital Platform
- Update the product roadmap and contribute to the vision and strategy of digital products
- Engage in sprint planning, provide clear details on features and user stories, and develop comprehensive requirements and success metrics
- Collaborate with IT resources and global teams to integrate essential skills for delivering advanced digital products
- Maintain and prioritize the product backlog to maximize business value and ensure customer satisfaction
- Drive business results and enhance customer value through strategic implementation of digital solutions
- Provide operations support, troubleshoot technical issues, and develop solutions
- Partner with global customers to address application enhancements and upgrades
- Design, configure, and unit test within the product lifecycle methodology
- Identify business problems, collaborate on solutions, and gather business requirements and data models
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor or Masters Degree in petroleum, mechanical, chemical, civil, or electrical engineering with minimum CGPA 7.5 and above
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in Oil and Gas Industry, specializing in Drilling, Completions, or Workovers
- 3 years of experience in related fields such as Applications Support and Business Analysis
- 1 year of field-related experience in Drilling, Completions, or Workovers
- Hands-on experience with multiple engineering basins is desirable
- Proficiency with software tools and digital applications used on rig/frac sites
- Strong digital awareness and ability to utilize technology for problem-solving
- Clear communication, positive relationship building, and team collaboration skills
- Understanding of well construction design and execution workflows
In addition to the above, Chevron ENGINE supports global operations and employee work hours will be aligned to support business requirements, with a standard work week from Monday to Friday. Working hours may vary between 8:00am to 5:00pm or 1:30pm to 10:30pm. Chevron participates in E-Verify in certain locations as required by law.
