ROLE OVERVIEW:
As Visual Communications Designer, you won’t just be creating content - you’ll be shaping
culture. Your role is to make people feel, pause, think, and act through stunning, story-rich
visuals. From cinematic short films and bold campaign graphics to compelling reels, product
shoots, and on-ground event coverage - you’ll be the visual voice of CitizenEarth.
This role calls for someone deeply creative, wildly multidisciplinary, and driven by the idea
that design and storytelling can create real-world impact.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Video Editing, Filmmaking & Storytelling
• Craft high-quality video content - from campaign films and expeditions to interviews,
reels, and visual essays.
• Co-create visual narratives around sustainability, community, fashion, and the planet.
• Take raw footage (often self-shot) and turn it into powerful stories that connect
emotionally and visually.
Graphic Design & Visual Identity
• Design all visual collaterals - social media creatives, ads, product lookbooks,
packaging, digital brochures, web banners, and more.
• Collaborate with the brand and marketing teams to evolve and maintain a consistent,
modern, and meaningful visual language across all touchpoints.
• Work on upcoming brand campaigns, product launches, digital storytelling initiatives,
and pop-ups.
Photography & Videography
• Lead brand shoots - both conceptual and product-focused.
• Handle in-house product styling and creative direction for apparel, bags, and lifestyle
collections.• Capture moments at events, community gatherings, and behind-the-scenes to
humanize the brand journey.
• Occasionally travel for content shoots and mission-driven campaigns.
Creative Strategy & Collaboration
• Work closely with marketing, branding, and product teams to align on content needs
and campaign timelines.
• Translate strategic goals and themes into powerful visuals with purpose and aesthetic
appeal.
• Contribute ideas for brand activations, digital storytelling experiments, and social
campaigns.
TECH-FIRST TOOLKIT:
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator,
Photoshop, InDesign)
• Experience with Figma, Canva, or other collaborative design tools
• Familiarity with AI-based content tools and a growth mindset toward emerging
technologies
• Bonus: Experience with drone shooting, animation, 3D design, or interactive visual
experiences

WHAT YOU BRING:
• Experience in a design + filmmaking + photography hybrid role (agency or brand
side)
• A stunning portfolio of graphic design, video, and photography work
• Deep understanding of branding, layout, visual hierarchy, tone, rhythm, and style
• Experience working with fashion, lifestyle, or sustainability-focused
brands (preferred)
• Comfort with shoot planning, styling, lighting, and editing end-to-end
• Bonus: Experience building brand visuals from scratch or contributing to a brand's
early design identity
