Data Engineer

Data Engineer (Ops) We are hiring a Journeyman Data Engineer to support enterprise operations by building and maintaining data pipelines, resolving data issues, and supporting audit and compliance efforts. This role will focus on Oracle EBS data structures, interface troubleshooting, and ensuring data integrity across mission-critical systems. Key Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field • 46 years of experience in data engineering or database development • Proficiency in SQL or PL/SQL, and data pipeline development • Experience with data remediation, interface troubleshooting, active DoD Secret Clearance Nice to Haves: • Experience with other languages such as Python, Java, or PowerShell • Experience supporting 24/7 operations or shift-based environments • Familiarity with Agile and DevSecOps environments • Experience with interface control documents (ICDs), EHF monitoring, and automated reporting • Knowledge of data archiving, backup, and recovery strategies • Exposure to audit frameworks and segregation of duties (SoD) controls • Experience with AI/ML What will the candidate do in this role? Design and maintain data pipelines supporting interface and operational data flows; analyze and resolve data integrity issues across Oracle EBS and external systems; support root cause analysis (RCA) and develop data remediation scripts; collaborate with interface and audit teams to ensure data traceability and compliance; develop and maintain automated reports and dashboards for operational visibility; support audit readiness by documenting data lineage, access controls, and remediation actions; participate in Agile ceremonies and provide technical input on data-related backlog items; monitor system performance and support capacity planning through data analysis.
