Devops Engineer (Bidar)

Designation: DevOps Engineer Qualification: - Bachelor's or Master's Degree in BE/BTech, ME/MTech, MCA Course Completion / Certification in DevOps Working Hours: 9 AM to 6 PMFull-Time JobExperience: Freshers Role And Responsibilities:- - Design, deploy, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for flawless, scalable, performant and secure continuous deployments of containerized applications to the cloud architectures, often on - Monitor and maintain production environments, resolving issues as they arise. - Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization. - Learn and adapt to trending technologies in a fast-paced environment, while producing quick and quality output. - Work closely with the team to understand the needs and develop solutions for the same. - Write and maintain crystal-clear technical documentation of processes, solutions, architectures, manuals and guides. - Coordinate efforts across the team to ensure completion and effectiveness. - Follow best practices to ensure a high level of security of all components running in cloud infrastructure. - Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure - Understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to developers - Manage the overall Jira DevOps. - Create/maintain Confluence permissions and spaces. - Jira/JSM permission schemes, projects, workflows, screen schemes, custom fields, and notification schemes. - Analyze requests for new JIRA/JSM functionality, implement new features, and work on support requests whilst able to understand the impact of the changes on other users. - Debug situations through understanding application logs, API documentation, and Atlassian documentation. - Create, update, and maintain reference documentation on Atlassian products. - Onboard new teams to JIRA/JSM and help existing teams optimize and customize their workflows. - Research and use plugins to provide additional functionality to users. - Ensure the release of bug-free code in each iteration and own as a team what’s released as part of the Sprint. - Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended - Planning out projects and being involved in project management decisions - Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes - Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and ‘fixes’ - Testing and examining code written by others and analyzing results - Kubernetes / Docker clusters using a mix of infrastructure-as-code tools, configuration-as-code tools, and custom scripts. - Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats Skills:- - Deep understanding of DevOps, including best practices & processes. - Knowledge of Databases (MySQL, Postgres) - Proficient with git and git workflows. - Extensive hands-on experience with programming in any contemporary language. - Knowledge in leading Jira Server to Jira Cloud/Data Centre migration. - Knowledge of REST APIs - Provide application support for Atlassian Applications -Jira, Jira Service Management (JSM), Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo - Knowledge of Linux, OS & Networking, Docker, Kubernetes - Knowledge of migration from Server and Cloud and upgrading the Atlassian suite of products - Knowledge in scripting(like Python, and Bash) and ability to automate tasks with scripts - Deep understanding of DevOps, including best practices & processes - Knowledge of programming in any modern language - Solid Computer Science fundamentals, excellent problem-solving skills and a strong understanding of distributed computing principles - Knowledge of technical support - Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
