Functional / Software Tester (Analyst)

As a detail-oriented Functional / Software Tester (Analyst), your role involves ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of applications and APIs by performing manual and automated testing. You will collaborate with developers to deliver high-quality products by analyzing software requirements, designing detailed test cases, and conducting functional testing. Here are the key responsibilities: - Analyze software requirements and design detailed test cases for various modules. - Perform manual and automated functional testing of applications and APIs. - Conduct API validation, verify responses, and ensure proper integration. - Log, track, and manage defects using testing tools. - Perform regression testing and re-test resolved bugs. - Document test results, prepare reports, and maintain testing records. - Collaborate closely with developers and product owners to understand and clarify functionality. To qualify for this role, you should have the following qualifications: - B.E/B.Tech / MCA / PG in Computer Science or related fields with( First Division or minimum 60% aggregate). - Knowledge of API testing concepts and tools. - Hands-on experience with tools like Postman, JIRA, TestRail, or similar. Additionally, the required skills for this position include: - Strong understanding of functional testing (manual & basic automation). - Ability to analyze requirements and prepare clear test cases. - Experience in defect logging and tracking. - Basic understanding of application security aspects. - Good communication and documentation skills. - Basic automation exposure (Selenium, Playwright, etc.). - Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies. This is a full-time job with benefits including Provident Fund. The work location is in person.
