Sr. Modeler Tekla Structures Roles and Responsibilities • Proficiency in Tekla Structures for 3D modeling, detailing, and shop drawing creation. • Experience in steel structure modeling using Tekla Structures. • Strong ability to interpret structural and architectural drawings with high attention to detail. • Proficiency in connection detailing and steel fabrication processes. • Expertise in extracting reports, numbering settings, and drawing generation in Tekla. • Strong knowledge of industry standards such as AISC and OSHA. • Familiarity with industry codes, standards, and best practices in steel detailing. • Proficient in reviewing contract drawings, designs, and RFIs. • Expertise in advanced features of Tekla Structures for efficient modeling and detailing. • Preferred experience in both structural steel and miscellaneous steel modeling. • Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve discrepancies in design and modeling. • High level of accuracy with excellent attention to detail. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within project teams. • Experience in offshore derrick modeling and BIM platforms is an added advantage. • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements. Qualification • Bachelor’s degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or related field. • Experience: 5–8 years in Tekla Structures modeling and steel detailing.
