We run fast-growing educational news platforms focused on medical & engineering updates on YouTube. We create informative, engaging, and value-driven long-form content including: • News Explainers • Podcasts • Educational Breakdowns • Interview-style discussions We’re looking for a creative + fast video editor who understands storytelling — not just cutting clips. We are hiring a Long-Form YouTube Video Editor who can turn raw footage into engaging, retention-focused content that keeps viewers watching. This is NOT basic editing work. We need someone who understands: YouTube pacing Viewer psychology Storytelling Engagement editing style Responsibilities You will be responsible for: • Editing long-form YouTube videos (8–40 mins) • Creating engaging storytelling flow • Adding: • Motion graphics • Text highlights • Visual references (images/videos) • Jump cuts for retention • Background music • Sound effects where needed • Improving pacing & removing dead moments • Adding zoom-ins, cuts & pattern interrupts • Creating clean & professional podcast-style edits • Syncing audio properly • Basic color correction • Using stock visuals where needed • Delivering videos optimized for YouTube retention Editing Style We Want The style should be: ✔ Clean but engaging ✔ Informational but not boring ✔ Fast-paced where needed ✔ Retention-focused ✔ News / Podcast YouTube style Think: • Documentary-style editing • Informational YouTube channels • Modern podcast visuals Software Requirements Must be comfortable with: • Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve • After Effects (basic motion graphics preferred) Requirements • Experience editing long-form YouTube videos • Understanding of YouTube retention editing • Good sense of pacing & storytelling • Ability to meet deadlines • Creative thinking (not template editing) Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
